Job Requirements

Prior baking experience required
ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
high school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
able to work in fast-paced environment
good physical stamina
willingness to learn and adapt
reliable and punctual
ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

Prior baking experience
ability to follow recipes and production specifications
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
good customer service skills
ability to maintain cleanliness and order in work area
attention to detail
ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
strong communication skills

Job Duties

Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and use of proper equipment
assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
inform supervisor when supplies are low
ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
keep display equipment clean and free of debris
interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
check to ensure all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment ensuring corporate and OSHA standards are met
complete shift work timely and thoroughly in accordance with department standards
perform other duties as assigned
