Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous baking experience preferred
- valid Food Handler’s card preferred
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday with varying hours
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including standing for long periods and lifting
- adherence to all company policies and safety regulations
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers

Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assists in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensures proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- assists with the completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- ensures proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
- handles food items safely according to regulations
- cleans equipment and workstation before leaving
- interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly manner
- keeps up with peak production and service efficiently and calmly
- checks that all food is presented and served per standards
- follows principles of sanitation and safety including OSHA standards
- completes shift work in a timely and thorough manner
- performs other duties as assigned
