Job Requirements

  • Previous bread-baking experience is required
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday with varying hours
  • capability to follow prescribed recipes and safety guidelines
  • physical ability to stand and perform baking tasks for extended periods
  • effective communication skills

  • adherence to company policies and OSHA safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bread-baking experience
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately

  • ability to maintain cleanliness in work area

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
  • assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
  • maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • handle food items appropriately and adhere to safety regulations
  • clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
  • interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
  • follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
  • complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner
  • perform other duties as assigned
