Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work full time Sunday through Thursday 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
  • ability to perform physically demanding baking tasks
  • comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • willingness to learn and follow company procedures
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of high volume baking experience preferred but not required
  • knowledge of baking and pastry preparation
  • ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • teamwork and customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and production standards
  • assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory
  • maintain food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
  • uphold sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
  • handle food items safely following safety regulations
  • clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
  • interact with customers and resolve complaints in a customer-service oriented manner
  • keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
  • check food presentation and serving per standards
  • follow sanitation and safety principles in food handling and equipment use
  • complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner
  • perform other duties as assigned
