  • prior large-volume baking experience
  • ability to work full-time with open availability including nights and weekends
  • ability to follow recipes and safety standards
  • good physical condition to handle baking duties
  • ability to operate baking equipment
  • excellent attention to detail
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
  • assists in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensures proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and prescribed production standards
  • assists with completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
  • maintains proper food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures
  • maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils within work area
  • handles food items appropriately following safety regulations
  • cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly
  • interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly manner
  • keeps up with peak production and service efficiently
  • checks food presentation and display standards
  • follows sanitation and safety principles and OSHA standards
  • completes shift work in a timely manner
  • performs other duties as assigned
