As a Baker with our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the production of a wide variety of artisan breads, pastries, and seasonal specialties. You will be involved in many aspects of the baking process, such as scaling, mixing, shaping, proofing doughs, and operating baking equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofers. You will also be responsible for monitoring baking times and temperatures to help guarantee consistent product quality. Your role requires a strong focus on fermentation timelines and dough-handling techniques that are essential to our artisan baking methods.
The ideal candidate is passionate about baking, willing to learn new skills, and able to thrive in our fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment and assist with ingredient preparation as well as mise en place. Additionally, involvement in packaging and labeling baked goods for both retail and wholesale distribution will be expected. Upholding our bakery’s rigorous quality standards is crucial while promoting a positive and cooperative team culture.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior baking experience in a restaurant, café setting
- more education or experience may be preferred
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
- attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
- basic math and computer skills
- willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create baked goods
