Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and informing supervisor of supply shortages
- maintain proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- uphold sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- handle food items safely and comply with all safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- convey customer concerns to supervisors
- manage peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
- ensure all food is presented, served and displayed to standards
- follow principles of sanitation and safety including OSHA standards
- complete shift work timely and thoroughly
- perform other duties as assigned
