The Baker position available at the IDB location, 1300 New York Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC, is a full-time role with a schedule from Monday to Friday, though specific hours may vary and will be detailed during the interview process. The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. This role is crucial in supporting the bakery operations by preparing a variety of baked goods such as breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries, adhering strictly to production specifications and recipes.

In this position, the Baker will be responsible for ensuring that all baked items meet high standards of quality, appearance, and taste while maintaining compliance with safety, sanitation, and portion control guidelines. The job also involves assisting in production planning to meet daily requirements and maintaining accurate production records including waste tracking and inventory updates. The Baker is expected to keep their work area clean and organized, ensuring all equipment and utensils are sanitized properly.
