Job Requirements

  • Prior pastry experience required
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
  • Compliance with company policies including safety measures such as using cut gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Willingness to work a full-time schedule, days may vary
  • Ability to maintain food quality and proper portion control
  • Commitment to maintaining sanitation and order in the workplace
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and customers

Job Qualifications

  • Prior pastry experience required
  • Ability to follow recipes and production standards accurately
  • Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
  • Good communication skills for customer interaction
  • Ability to work efficiently during peak production times
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
  • Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • Utilize approved recipes and production standards while using proper equipment
  • Complete production records including waste tracking, portion control and inventory updates
  • Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and orderliness of equipment and workstation
  • Handle food safely in compliance with corporate and OSHA safety standards
  • Interact with customers and address complaints in a friendly, professional manner
