- prior baking experience required

Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and prescribed production standards
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
- handle food items according to safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- ensure food presentation, quality, portion control and proper serving temperatures
- follow principles of sanitation and safety in food handling and equipment use
- complete shift work in timely and thorough manner
- perform other duties as assigned
