This full-time Baker position is located at Expedia, 1201 Amgen Court West in Seattle, Washington. The scheduled hours for this role run primarily during early mornings, with shifts from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm or 4:00 am to 12:00 pm on variable days, accommodating the production needs of the day. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of baking experience

- basic math skills for measuring ingredients and tracking production
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and use of proper equipment
- assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
- inform supervisor when supplies are low
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- relay relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors
- keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
- follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed
- complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards
- perform other duties as assigned
