We are currently seeking talented and dedicated bakers to join our passionate bakery team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who have practical baking experience and thrive in a fast-paced, early morning work environment, with shifts starting as early as 3:00 AM. Bakers at Nugget Markets play a crucial role in ensuring that our bakery produces fresh, delicious baked goods that meet the high standards our customers expect. As part of the bakery team, you will be responsible for baking a wide variety of products such as bagels, croissants, cookies, and other pastries. Your work will also involve merchandising and packaging these baked goods in an attractive and sanitary manner.

Bakers will operate various kitchen machinery, including ovens, proofers, and mixers, ensuring that each batch is prepared to perfection. Attention to cleanliness and safety is paramount, and maintaining a tidy and sanitary work environment is a key part of the role. The position also includes physical tasks such as lifting and stacking flour sacks, loading carts and racks with finished products, and collaborating closely with bakery clerks to provide outstanding service to our guests.
