Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months baking experience in a high volume kitchen
  • ability to read and follow recipes
  • basic knowledge of measurements
  • basic cake decorating skills
  • knowledge of plating cakes and desserts for meal service
  • ability to keep dessert bar and refrigerator stocked
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas and bakery utensils
  • knowledge of bakery supplies and commercial kitchen equipment
  • physical ability to reach, bend, stoop frequently
  • able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • able to stand for long periods
  • capable of repetitive motion tasks
  • manual dexterity

  • ability to follow written and oral instructions

  • keep the dessert bar and dessert refrigerator well stocked
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas and bakery utensils
  • operate and maintain bakery supplies and commercial kitchen equipment
  • perform other duties as assigned
