Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in baking or related food preparation preferred
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines
  • must obtain food safety certification(s) as required
  • basic math proficiency
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to handle physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking and standing for extended times
  • willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
  • proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • required to obtain food safety certification(s)
  • demonstrates basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
  • operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.
  • safely use a variety of utensils including knives
  • properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • ensure security of company assets
