Job Requirements

  • Food Safety Manager Certification required
  • Prior experience in baking breads and cakes preferred
  • Ability to work early morning shift starts between 4:30am and 6am
  • Availability for weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain high sanitation and health standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Motivation to continuously improve baking skills and techniques

  • Prior baking experience specifically in breads and cakes
  • Food Safety Manager Certification

Job Duties

  • Work alongside the Baker Team Leader and the baker team to scale, mix, portion, shape, proof, and bake multiple bread doughs and cake batters while ensuring consistency and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to sanitation and health regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with Head Baker, baking team, and management to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality, quantity, or ingredients
  • Operate a variety of kitchen tools and equipment such as stand mixers, convection and deck ovens, cutting tools, rolling pins, lames, and electric scales
  • Set a positive tone for the team and bakery each morning as the first to arrive
