Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in bakery or related food service roles preferred but not required
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks typical to bakery production
- willingness to learn and use digital technologies

Job Qualifications

- ability to operate baking equipment and follow recipes accurately

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs to work in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise following recipes, make-up instructions, and company procedures
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes baking equipment
- leverages digital tools and handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, training, and quality control
- maintains work area cleanliness, quality, and date control standards
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste and assists members with purchasing decisions
- follows company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback.
