Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- previous experience in bakery or food service preferred

- proficient in using digital tools and handheld devices

Job Duties
- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follow recipes and make-up instructions
- wrap, label, and store bakery merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and answering questions
- maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and support other areas as needed
- use handheld technology to make production and quality related decisions
- ensure quality control and date compliance for bakery items
- assist in eliminating waste and securing fragile merchandise
