Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in bakery or food service preferred

  • ability to operate baking equipment safely
  • proficient in using digital tools and handheld devices

Job Duties

  • Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
  • follow recipes and make-up instructions
  • wrap, label, and store bakery merchandise according to company policies and procedures
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
  • operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
  • provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and answering questions
  • maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
  • collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and support other areas as needed
  • use handheld technology to make production and quality related decisions
  • ensure quality control and date compliance for bakery items
  • assist in eliminating waste and securing fragile merchandise
