Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- able to stand for long periods during shifts
- able to follow detailed recipes and food preparation instructions
- capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- willing to complete all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period

- able to work collaboratively in a team
- physically able to handle the demands of bakery work including lifting and bending
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in food service or bakery environment preferred
- ability to use handheld technology for business functions
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- customer service experience
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- ensures commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work
