Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous bakery or food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines preferred
- Proficiency in operating bakery equipment
- Capability to use handheld digital tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates with team members
- Adapts to needs of the business and works in other areas
- Prepares bakery merchandise according to daily production needs
- Operates baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise per company policies
- Ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management standards
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- Uses handheld technology to support production, ordering, training, and product quality decisions
- Maintains work area cleanliness and operational excellence
- Assists members with purchasing decisions
- Acts as an advocate for the department and club by modeling quality service and products
- Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- Complies with company policies, ethics, and procedures
