Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and flexibly adapts to business needs to work in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions while wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and quality
- maintains operational excellence by keeping work area clean and organized
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items and secures fragile merchandise
- eliminates waste and assists members with purchasing decisions
- acts as an advocate for the department by modeling high quality service and products
- complies with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- completes work assignments through effective communication, prioritization, and collaboration
