Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicate with team members and be flexible to business needs
- prepare bakery merchandise daily by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wrap, label, and store bakery items according to company policies
- ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory standards
- operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- utilize handheld technology for production, ordering, and quality control
- maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
- ensure merchandise quality and date control
- secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- act as an advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
- comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics
- complete work assignments and identify improvement opportunities
- adapt to changes and provide feedback
