Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in different areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise per company policies and food safety standards
- maintains compliance with sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- uses handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and quality control
- ensures work area cleanliness and organization
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste and assists members with purchasing decisions
- models high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- completes work assignments using policies, data, and resources
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
- adapts to change and feedback to enhance operations
