Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- able to stand for long periods
- capable of following detailed instructions and recipes
- able to lift moderate weights as required
- able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- willing to comply with company drug-free workplace policy
- successfully complete all required job training and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate baking equipment
- familiarity with inventory management and quality control
- proficiency with handheld digital technology or willingness to learn
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by following recipes and make-up instructions
- operate baking equipment safely and efficiently
- wrap, label, and store bakery merchandise according to company policies
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- maintain work area cleanliness and organization
- provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking members
- utilize handheld digital tools to manage production, orders, training, and product quality
- collaborate with team members to meet business needs and work in other areas as required
- monitor quality and date control standards for bakery items
- handle merchandising including securing fragile and high-shrink items
- contribute to waste elimination and operational excellence
- advocate for the department and club with positive attitude and model high-quality service and products
- comply with company policies and ethical standards.
