- Previous experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate baking equipment
- Comfortable using digital tools and handheld technology
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by following recipes and baking instructions
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment according to food safety standards
- Wrap, label, and store bakery products ensuring compliance with company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with orders and answering questions
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bakery operations and meet production goals
- Utilize handheld technology to support production decisions and inventory management
