Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas as necessary
- Prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production schedules by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions for accurate product creation
- Wraps, labels, and stores bakery items according to company policies and food safety standards
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work area
- Utilizes handheld technology for production decisions, inventory management, and quality control
- Ensures operational excellence by managing date control, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions
- Acts as an advocate for the department by providing high-quality service and maintaining product standards
- Complies with company policies and ethics and completes assigned tasks effectively
- Adapts to change and seeks improvement opportunities through communication and collaboration
