Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with the team
- is flexible to work in other areas as needed
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes/make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
- uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- utilizes hand-held technology for business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality
- maintains work area according to company policies
- ensures quality and date control standards
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored properly
- advocates for the department and club by valuing member experience
- models high quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners
