Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- leverages digital tools and handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready work area
- provides exceptional customer service to members
- complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and other business partners
- adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback
