Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates effectively with team members
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs
- operates baking equipment following recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- utilizes digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- advocates for the department and club by modeling high quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- completes work assignments and priorities using data and resources while collaborating with coworkers and management.
