Job Qualifications

- previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
- ability to operate bakery equipment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- familiarity with digital tools and handheld technology

Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follow recipes and makeup instructions
- wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- provide exceptional customer service to members
- maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- leverage digital tools and handheld technology to support production, ordering, training, and quality decisions
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminate waste
- comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- communicate progress and information
- adapt to change and feedback
- advocate for the department and the club by modeling high-quality service and products
- execute basics at the highest possible level of quality
- exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work
