Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in food preparation or bakery operations is an advantage
- ability to operate baking equipment and follow detailed recipes
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- excellent customer service and communication abilities
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- proficiency with handheld technology for business applications
- positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- commitment to quality and operational excellence.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and remains flexible to business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise in compliance with company policies
- ensures food safety, sanitation, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions related to production and ordering
- maintains clean and organized work areas
- secures merchandise to prevent damage and waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- adheres to company policies, ethical standards, and operational procedures
- completes assigned work priorities and communicates progress
- adapts to change and seeks continuous improvement.
