Job Qualifications

- experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- ability to operate baking equipment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- ability to work in fast-paced environment and multitask
- proficient with handheld technology
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and remains flexible to the needs of the business
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- utilizes handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality decisions
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- eliminates waste and secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
