The Bakery/Packager Associate position at Sam's Club is a dynamic role that centers on preparing and presenting fresh baked goods for members daily. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and freshness of bakery items through meticulous adherence to recipes, wrapping, labeling, and proper storage procedures. This role pays between $19.00 and $27.00 per hour, with additional performance-based incentives and potential premium pay depending on factors like schedule and work performed. Working in the bakery department, associates collaborate closely with team members, communicate effectively, and show flexibility to assist in other business areas when needed. Responsibilities include operating baking equipment, ensuring food safety standards, sanitation compliance, inventory management, date control, and packaging merchandise following company policies. Associates must demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and high energy, all while embodying the company’s values of operational excellence and member focus.
