Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Completion of all required job training and assessments within designated timeframes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to operate and maintain bakery equipment
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology advantageous
- Commitment to teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Communicate effectively with team members and adapt to business needs
- Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follow recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- Wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production and product quality
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready work area
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- Complete work assignments by coordinating with managers, co-workers, and customers
