Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in bakery or food preparation is a plus but not required
- ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- provides exceptional customer service to members
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- uses handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- communicates progress and information
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- eliminates waste
- ensures merchandise is properly packaged and labeled
