Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise by following recipes and operating baking equipment
- wraps, labels, and stores bakery merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory management standards
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- provides exceptional customer service and answers member questions
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions related to production and merchandise ordering
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste while maintaining quality and date control standards
- advocates for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies and standards of ethics
