Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and is flexible to business needs by working in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes baking equipment
- uses digital tools and hand-held technology to drive sales, improve shopping experiences, and make immediate business decisions
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready work area
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- eliminates waste and secures fragile merchandise
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for the department and club by providing high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers
- adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback
