Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation, and food preparation checklists
  • prepare ingredients for cooking such as portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances for measuring and baking
  • follow and ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene procedures
  • check and ensure correct temperatures of cooking appliances and food, reporting any issues to management
  • wash and sanitize kitchen area, arrange and divide workstations, and adhere to hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • monitor the quality of prepared food and portions served throughout the workday
  • comply with all company policies and procedures including safety, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • keep proprietary information confidential and safeguard company assets
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others and handle phone calls using appropriate protocols
  • cultivate and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to achieve common goals
  • adhere to quality standards and expectations
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance
  • navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • stretch overhead and under knees, and perform bending, twisting, turning, and stooping
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
