Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to follow recipes and quality standards
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing them properly
  • Use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and appropriately for baking and cooking
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food handling safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Monitor and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting any issues to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and set up workstations following hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Wear clean and professional uniforms and maintain personal appearance
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and follow proper phone protocols
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships and support the team in achieving common goals
  • Comply with quality expectations and safety standards
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance
  • Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Perform physical activities including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, crouching, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods
  • Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
