Job Requirements
- Previous baking and prep experience preferred
- ability to follow recipes and production standards
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety in food handling
- effective communication skills
- availability to work full time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- willingness to learn and undergo training
- legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous baking and prep experience preferred
- ability to follow recipes and production specifications accurately
- strong attention to detail and quality
- customer service skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work efficiently during peak production times
- teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and production standards
- assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- handle food items with safety regulations in mind
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly at shift end
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- follow principles of sanitation and safety ensuring corporate and OSHA standards
- complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner
- perform other duties as assigned
