Job Description

Dunkin' is a renowned global brand with a rich history dating back to 1950, recognized as America’s favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods. As a market leader in the hot regular, decaf, and flavored coffee categories, as well as the donut, bagel, and muffin categories, Dunkin' has firmly established itself as a household name. With over 13,100 restaurants spread across 41 countries worldwide, Dunkin' continues to grow and innovate, maintaining a dominant position in the foodservice and quick-service restaurant industry. Headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, Dunkin' is part of the Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc. family of companies, leveraging its strong brand loyalty and commitment to quality to deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible baker to join our team in an overnight production role. This position is essential to our restaurant’s success, as the baker is responsible for the preparation of a variety of bakery products including donuts, munchkins, muffins, croissants, bagels, and other necessary prep items. This is an overnight position, generally scheduled from 8pm to 5am, and it requires someone who can independently manage their tasks and ensure the smooth operation of the bakery throughout production hours. Our baker plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our products, which directly impacts the satisfaction of our customers.

The baker not only handles the baking and production of goods but also takes responsibility for keeping all production areas clean and in excellent condition. This includes maintaining ovens, production equipment, freezers, floors, walls, and the setup of bakery cases. Adherence to all food safety standards is vital, including accurate date marking and proper storage of all products. We seek someone extremely punctual and a self-motivated professional who values cleanliness and organization. In addition to baking duties, donut finishing tasks are part of the job, which involves filling and frosting donuts, replenishing donut cases during morning hours, and cleaning workstations at the end of each shift. These tasks include washing equipment and maintaining a clean, sanitary production and storage environment.

As this position requires physical activity, candidates must be able to perform duties that include hearing, speaking, seeing, carrying, bending, walking, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for periods ranging from 4 to 8 hours. Reasonable accommodations will be considered if necessary. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to follow brand standards and recipes rigorously, and the resilience to work effectively under pressure. We are proud to offer flexible scheduling, paid on-the-job training, growth opportunities promoting from within, and a variety of medical benefits including a 401k plan with employer match. Our employee referral program also rewards contributions to our team with cash bonuses, making this a fulfilling career choice not just for your skills but also for your professional growth and health.
