Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age to operate certain bakery equipment
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working around hot equipment and handling hot pans
  • Ability to stand for entire scheduled shifts
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
  • Report to work on time
  • Meet uniform and grooming standards
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high stress situations
  • Willingness to offer opinions and recommendations
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in baking or food preparation a plus
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to maintain product consistency and quality

Job Duties

  • Bake batches according to daily PAR and bake order sheets
  • Consistently produce high quality bakery products
  • Be accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
  • Keep workstation clean at all times
  • Keep freezer products in order and sealed after use
  • Properly clean all dishes and pans throughout the shift
  • Assist managers in determining bread levels and bake sequence
  • Adhere to all safety and health code requirements including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
  • Complete all baking assignments in a timely manner
