Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends
- ability to pass background check according to local, state, and federal laws
- possession of a valid state-issued driver’s license where required
- physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during work hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- previous bakery or food service experience is advantageous
- understanding of baking processes and kitchen equipment
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- basic math and measurement skills
- strong attention to detail and quality
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure quality product availability each shift
- work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent guest service including order taking and sandwich making
- maintain cleanliness and safety of the store environment
- prepare dough and ingredients to bake bagels and other pastries daily
- monitor baking equipment and adjust as needed to ensure product quality
- assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
