Hi-Rise Bread Company is currently seeking a full-time baker to join their baking department with an emphasis on bread products. This role involves working closely with other team members in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The baker will be responsible for tasks such as scaling wet and dry ingredients precisely according to recipe specifications, baking various quickbreads, scones, and breads, and shaping a wide range of doughs. The position offers training opportunities focused on bread mixing and baking once the baker demonstrates proficiency in shaping breads over a period of at least three months. While no previous commercial baking experience is required, candidates with experience are encouraged to apply. The company values individuals who show eagerness to learn, possess a strong work ethic, and have a passion for quality craftsmanship. Precision, speed, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a complex and fast-moving workspace are essential qualities for this role.
