Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
  • Availability to work early morning shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Follow proprietary recipes and procedures to bake cakes to Nothing Bundt Cakes quality standards
  • Prepare cake batter, bake cakes, and monitor baking times to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain an organized and efficient baking schedule to meet daily production needs
  • Ensure proper cooling, storage, and handling of baked cakes before they are frosted and decorated
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Communicate with the Froster and leadership team to ensure proper cake inventory and availability
  • Assist with bakery opening and closing duties as needed
