The Baker role is integral to our culinary operations, responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods including hand-made yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts, and breakfast bakery items during weekends. This position requires careful attention to the quality, appearance, and freshness of all baked products to meet brand standards and guest expectations. Speed, cleanliness, and organizational skills are crucial to successfully manage daily production demands while maintaining a high standard of food safety and presentation.\n\nThe Baker will closely follow Golden Corral recipes, production guides, and buffet systems to ensure product consistency and shelf life compliance. Responsibilities also include portion control, recipe yield adherence, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bakery area according to health department regulations. Additionally, the Baker acts as a brand ambassador by engaging with guests courteously, assisting their selections, and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. This position is hourly, with a compensation range of $11.50 to $13.50 per hour, providing opportunities for individuals passionate about baking and hospitality to grow within a dynamic franchise environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a baker
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Availability to work weekends
- Ability to follow safety and health regulations
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Prepares hand-made yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts and other baked items
- Prepares breakfast bakery items on weekends to meet production needs
- Completes use and follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
- Ensures that every product in the bakery is always fresh, tasty, visually appealing and hot, when appropriate
- Maintains quality by preparing all products following Golden Corral recipes and standards
- Maintains proper portioning and recipe yields
- Follows the Bakery and Dessert Cafe Production Guide
