Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Adaptable to different situations and ability to respond to shifting priorities
- Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions
- Ability to move, lift, carry supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Frequent overhead and below knee reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching and twisting
- Occasional climbing required
- Continuous repetitive hand and arm motions
- Standing and/or walking continuously during shift
- Visual acuity to locate merchandise and verify information often in small print
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and inside with heat, cold, dust and humidity
- Exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals
- Exposure to latex, eggs, nuts, soy and wheat
- Employment contingent upon PEP survey, drug screen, employment reference, and criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience in bakery or food production is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to use bakery equipment and tools properly
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Job Duties
- Support bakery department operations including readiness, staffing, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, financial goals and objectives, cleanliness and safe equipment use
- Support bakery department replenishment and inventory including ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing and accounting, back stock, reclamation, returns, damages and reworks, supply use and inventory preparation
- Adhere to equipment cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Follow company and food safety production guidelines for fresh food preparation, production and processing
- Ensure proper packaging, weighing, pricing and labeling of products per company and regulatory standards
- Adhere to food service department cleaning standards using approved equipment and chemicals
- Define and solve problems effectively using critical thinking and logic
- Consistently produce high quality products while maintaining personal and workplace safety
