We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Baking Program team. This role features shifts from 4am to 9am or 4am to 11am, offering both full-time and part-time employment opportunities with competitive pay ranging from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour. The position is pivotal in ensuring our baked goods and other food products meet the highest quality standards while delivering outstanding customer service. As part of the team, you will follow the Always Fresh procedure to guarantee that products are fresh and accurate, while adhering to product shelf life standards. You will be responsible for consistently maintaining a visually appealing product showcase, ensuring the right quantity and variety is available for guests at all times, which enhances the overall customer experience.

In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting speed of service targets by preparing and filling customer orders efficiently in both the restaurant and drive-thru settings. You will also handle any customer service concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction by listening carefully and resolving issues regardless of involvement. Operational responsibilities include preparing products with minimal food waste, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining production sheets and logs accurately. Your attention to detail will extend to regularly taking temperatures of products and equipment to ensure food safety compliance.

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the production area is crucial, as is following all restaurant policies, sanitation guidelines, and health and safety legislation. You will be expected to work safely, use personal protective equipment as required, and report any hazards or incidents to management.   • able to work early morning shifts from 4am to 9am or 4am to 11am
  • able to stand for extended periods
  • able to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • effective communication skills

  • basic math skills for inventory and waste recording
  • ability to lift moderate weight
  • work in person at the restaurant location

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in food preparation or customer service is an asset

Job Duties

  • Follow the guaranteed Always Fresh procedure to ensure products are fresh and accurate
  • adhere to product shelf life standards to maintain quality
  • deliver consistent and outstanding customer service by maintaining an appealing product showcase
  • enhance customer experience using Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You principles
  • support speed of service targets by working quickly and efficiently in restaurant and drive-thru
  • promptly execute service recovery to resolve customer complaints
  • monitor fridge and freezer inventory and submit order quantities
  • prepare products minimizing food waste and recording production and waste
  • assist in serving guests in the restaurant front when necessary
  • take temperatures of products, fridges, and freezers and log information
  • clean and maintain the production area
  • follow all restaurant policies, procedures and sanitation guidelines
  • support a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • comply with occupational health and safety legislation and use personal protective equipment as required
  • report injuries, hazards, and unsafe conditions to management
