Job Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Must have flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
Ability to operate commercial baking equipment safely
Ability to follow health and safety protocols
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Commitment to punctuality and attendance

Job Qualifications

No formal education required
Previous experience as a Baker or in a bakery, restaurant, or foodservice environment is a plus
Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions, including recipes in English and Spanish
Proficient in using commercial baking equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Ability to maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards
Self-motivated and organized with ability to work independently

Job Duties

Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals
Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other baking tools
Accurately prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking, monitors the baking process
Adheres to proper packaging, labeling, storage, and product rotation standards and maintains baking and refrigeration logs
Assists Bakery Manager in production planning and inventory monitoring
Evaluates raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure quality standards and reports issues
Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstations and baking supplies
Complies with health and safety guidelines, dress code, and personal hygiene
Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality
