Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year bakery or pastry experience
  • ability to work shifts including early mornings and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and handle bakery equipment safely
  • understanding of food safety regulations
  • must be punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bakery or pastry chef experience
  • knowledge of food safety and allergen protocols
  • ability to follow precise recipe specifications
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills for coordinating with café staff
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • familiarity with FIFO inventory management

Job Duties

  • Produce all baked goods and pastries to recipe spec right weight right temp right look every batch
  • manage churros production to hit daily volume goals without ever compromising quality
  • set up and fully break down the bakery station for each shift
  • monitor product freshness aggressively nothing stale leaves this station ever
  • follow all food safety and allergen labeling protocols strictly
  • label and date all items per FIFO standards without exception
  • coordinate with café staff on product availability sell-through and timing
  • keep Dulce Aroma looking beautiful it is a display kitchen and guests are watching
