Job Description
Mexico Ceaty is an exciting and dynamic new dining destination that offers a distinctive culinary experience characterized by innovative cuisine, exceptional service, and a lively atmosphere. The establishment prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, a strong focus on detail, and a dedicated commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences to every guest. Nestled in the vibrant Shops at Rivercenter on the San Antonio River Walk, Mexico Ceaty has already begun to make waves as a unique gastronomic hotspot with a concept that not only celebrates the rich flavors of Mexico City but also provides a fresh and welcoming environment for patrons. This commitment to excellence ensures that every customer leaves with lasting memories, whether it be from the taste of authentic churros, fresh pastries, or the aromatic coffees that evoke the feeling of a Mexican morning.
At the heart of Mexico Ceaty's operation is the bakery station, where a talented individual will take ownership of producing a consistent array of baked goods and pastries that meet exact recipe specifications, including weight, temperature, and appearance. This role involves managing churro production efficiently to meet daily volume goals without sacrificing the quality that sets Mexico Ceaty apart from other establishments. This is not just about baking; it's about crafting experiences that guests remember with every bite. The position calls for someone who embodies the principles of GWC – Get it, Want it, and Capacity to do it – which emphasizes personal accountability and excellence. Day-to-day responsibilities also include vigilant management of product freshness, strict adherence to food safety and allergen labeling protocols, proper FIFO labeling and dating practices, and close coordination with café staff to optimize product availability and timing. The bakery station doubles as a display kitchen, so maintaining cleanliness and visual appeal throughout the shift is crucial.
This role is ideally suited for a dedicated bakery professional who takes pride in their craft and understands that the quality and appearance of baked goods directly influence guest satisfaction and brand reputation. Success in this role is measured not just in the volume of products sold, but in the joy and compliments received from customers, the impeccable condition of displays, and the showcasing of pastries by the Chef on the menu board. Working within the renowned Jason Dady Restaurant Group, known for its influence in shaping San Antonio’s culinary scene for over 20 years, the role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of the group's most ambitious project yet. This project extends a legacy of excellence through various beloved concepts, including Tre Trattoria, Range, and Two Bros BBQ Market, affirming Mexico Ceaty’s place in a distinguished family of culinary ventures. By joining Mexico Ceaty as a bakery artisan, candidates are invited to contribute to a vibrant team committed to quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced yet supportive environment.
