Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as ovens mixers and slicers
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- commitment to food safety and hygiene practices
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior baking experience in a retail or commercial setting is an asset
- basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- ability to decorate cakes and pastries is a plus
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast paced team environment
- eagerness to learn and develop baking skills
Job Duties
- prepare breads cookies and pastries according to recipes and quality standards
- bake and decorate cakes and fancy desserts with attention to detail
- operate ovens mixers slicers and proofers safely and efficiently
- maintain cleanliness and organization of display cases and bakery shelves
- interact positively with customers providing excellent service and product knowledge
- monitor inventory levels and restock when necessary
- comply with health safety and sanitation guidelines
